This tranquil 128-acre preserve lies on the south shore of Lake Apopka, in the town of Oakland. A series of short trails, including a boardwalk, offers great opportunities to explore the flora and fauna of Central Florida. Our favorite trail is the boardwalk to Lake Apopka, which has excellent interpretive signage. You will see a variety of birds (over 170 species have been identified here), turtles and maybe even alligators.
Operating Hours: Trails are open 365 days a year, from Sunrise to Sunset
